Calendula Officinalis Q - Mother Tincture

The mother tincture of Calendula Officinalis promotes the healing of injured skin (superficial wounds of small extent, crevices, abrasions, chapped skin, and insect bites).

Indications of use :

Apply the mother tincture and water solution to the skin, 1 to 4 times a day with a sterile compress. Use in children under 6 requires medical advice.
The duration of treatment should not exceed one week.

Precautions for use :
Never use mother tincture of Calendula officinalis, liquid for cutaneous application in the following cases :
Hypersensitivity to Calendula.
Known sensitivity to plants of the family Asteraceae.
Be careful with mother tincture of Calendula Officinalis, liquid for cutaneous application:
Do not apply to superinfected lesions or wounds.
Do not apply on eyes and mucous membranes.
Stop treatment as soon as symptoms disappear.
External use. Do not swallow.
Taking other medicines : 
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even those not prescribed.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: In the absence of experimental and clinical data and as a precaution, the use of this drug should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation.
Excipient with known effect: Ethanol. The alcoholic strength of this solution is 55% V / V.

Side effects :
Like all medicines, the tincture of Calendula officinalis for cutaneous application is likely to have side effects although not everyone is subject to it. Due to the presence of alcohol, applications on the skin can cause irritation and dryness of the skin.
